With the Falcons not having a First Round Pick this year, I wanted to go back and see exactly who the Falcons have picked with their #1 over the years.

Several things jump out.

#1  Most teams have busts at QB. The Falcons run the gamut of busts at EVERY position. Nebraska CBs were awful. Aundray Bruce held up the pizza guy with a BB gun. Best RB is Bubba Bean. QB Randy Johnson took the first snap in Falcons history and lined up behind the guard. Not a good start for the franchise.

#2  There are some REALLY good picks. Tommy Nobis- good player. Great in the city. Claude Humphrey- great pass rusher. Bartkowski- never lived up to the hype but was really good. Mike Kenn- possibly the best of all the picks. Deion- didn't stay long enough but was fantastic. (Now he's a complete jackass. Tweeting pics of his kids filling out police reports against their Mother?)


Let's hope the administration at Flowery Branch can pull a few rabbits out of the hat this weekend.
